Warranty Policies
At A&I Home Interiors, we are committed to providing high‑quality products designed to offer comfort, durability, and peace of mind. This Warranty Policy explains what is covered, what is not covered, and how to make a warranty claim.
This policy should be read alongside our Returns & Refunds Policy.
1. Warranty Coverage
1.1 Mattresses
- Covered by a 5‑Year Warranty against manufacturing defects.
1.2 Beds & Bed Frames
- Covered by a 2‑Year Warranty for structural and manufacturing faults.
The warranty periods start from the date of delivery to you.
2. What the Warranty Covers
Subject to the terms below, our warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
-
Structural faults that occur under normal domestic use, such as:
- Broken or cracked bed frames due to a manufacturing fault
- Faulty joints or fixings
- Mattress defects such as faulty stitching, manufacturing-related sagging or deformities not caused by misuse or wear and tear
If a genuine manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will offer an appropriate remedy (see Section 5).
3. What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not cover:
-
Normal wear and tear
- Gradual softening of mattress materials
- Minor fabric pilling or fading over time
-
Misuse, abuse or improper use, including but not limited to:
- Incorrect assembly or use not in accordance with instructions
- Exceeding the recommended weight limits
- Using an unsuitable base or frame with the mattress/bed
-
Accidental damage, such as:
- Stains, spills, burns, cuts, pet damage
- Damage from impacts, drops, or rough handling
- Changes in comfort preference over time (e.g. too soft/too firm)
- Damage caused during self-transport or when moved by the customer
- Modifications or repairs made by anyone other than A&I Home Interiors or an authorised technician
- Commercial or non-domestic use, if the item was not designed for such use
If a product shows signs of misuse, neglect, or unauthorised alteration, the warranty will be considered void.
This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
4. Warranty Conditions
To qualify for warranty coverage:
- The product must have been purchased directly from A&I Home Interiors or an authorised sales channel.
- You must be the original purchaser and able to provide proof of purchase (e.g. order confirmation, receipt).
- The product must have been used in a normal domestic environment and for its intended purpose.
5. Remedies Under This Warranty
Once a valid warranty claim is approved, A&I Home Interiors will, at its discretion:
- Repair the defective product or component, or
- Replace the product (or the defective part) with the same or a comparable model, or
- Where repair or replacement is not practical, offer a partial or full refund, taking into account the age and condition of the product.
Any repair or replacement under warranty does not extend or restart the original warranty period; the original warranty term from the date of delivery still applies.
6. How to Make a Warranty Claim
If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect within the warranty period:
-
Contact our customer service team:
- Email: info@aihomeinteriors.co.uk
-
Provide the following information:
- Your full name
- Your order number
- The product name and a clear description of the issue
- Photos and/or videos clearly showing the fault or defect
-
Our team may ask for:
- Additional photos, videos, or details
- Information about how the product has been used and cared for
7. Assessment & Next Steps
- Once we receive your claim and supporting evidence, our team will review and assess whether the issue is likely a manufacturing defect or excluded under this policy (e.g. wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage).
- We may:
- Provide care or usage guidance if the issue is due to use or setup
- Arrange an inspection (remote via photos/videos, or in person if required)
- If the claim is approved, we will confirm the remedy (repair, replacement, or refund) and any practical steps (e.g. collection of the faulty item).
If your claim is not approved, we will clearly explain the reason (for example, if the issue is due to wear and tear, damage, or misuse).
